We are actively seeking volunteers from around the world to go and stay in the village of Petifu from 2 weeks to 2 months.

We consider people from any background if they can volunteer to paint, work with the school, help dig a latrine, teach good goat care and especially people with medical training. We need to get some resource materials to the village and try and give the nurse more assistance and training. So we are especially keen to find volunteers with any knowledge of healthcare, delivery, childbirth, maternal health and well woman.

Volunteers pay their own travel and transport and pay a small weekly amount to cover all accommodation, food, clean water and a guide for the duration of your time in the village. You will be staying within the nurse's accommodation, with your own basic room. 

We work very closely with our volunteers before they travel to ensure that they are fully prepared for their trip and are understanding of our relationships within the country and the village.

We do not place volunteers during the height of the dry season: March and April.
