CHT aims to become a registered charity, or join ranks with a Sierra Leone Non Government Organisation (NGO) that has similar values. 

 

We are seeking sponsors for individual villages, business start up (in village) and staffing costs.

 

We are desperately seeking sponsorship of a vehicle. Travelling on public transport in Sierra Leone is ineffective, dangerous and time consuming. Public transport vehicles are old, under maintained and never have a spare wheel! A great deal of CHT time and money is wasted on using the public transport system. Without a vehicle for CHT we are unable to travel after dark and many hours of daylight are wasted trying to procure a vehicle for travel often resulting in unnecessary overnight stays and more expense as well as delays to the programme.

 

One of the biggest struggles for us funding our flights, only with regular trips to the country can we ensure that the programme stays on track.

Any donations of air miles or flight sponsorship for Jacqui Forte to visit more frequently to manage the prgramme are very much appreciated. Africa is a 'face to face' country, she can achieve in a week in SL what it takes several months to achieve through phone calls and e-mails from the UK.

 

We are also investigating solar energy for the clinics to achieve a more reliable, safer energy to provide lighting.
